We sat at the bar and it seemed like there was a lot of help but they seemed overwhelmed. Assuming that there was my re people beyond the bar. Hence we'd get put in the back burner. At the end of our stay not once but 2x ...patrons yelled about a mouse running around near us. The bar tenders ignored it...when my bill came I said you gotta give me a discount considering there's mice running around here. She took my ravioli to go order off . I thought that was fair but still why are there mice running around in the dinning room?

The first one, I think there was one bartender for the room, and he was also servicing the entire restaurant. There were about 8 of us and it took a very long time to get waited on while we were there. It was a Friday, so you want to cut them some slack, nut one bartender for the Gandy Dancer and the Grand Concourse. That really isn't OK. So tonight, Thursday, we expected less busy, but it turned out the bar side filled up, and the staff was overwhelmed. Again took forever to get waited on and also to get our food (confusion reigned in getting our order to all come out). The Happy Hour specials are pretty decent. Drink and appetizer specials were reasonable and reasonable tasty. Though I will say, I had both the East End Big Hop and the Dogfish head, and both tasted a little off to me - wondering if the lines need cleaned/maintained?

Of course when you're sitting there you'll get some attention. Ordered an appetizer and it never came out. Had a quesadilla, still waiting on the appetizer. The manager apologized for the inconvenience and promised to comp the appetizer -- LOL, it never came! Thanks but no thanks. This place has an old-school bar feel but it's never worth the hassle of the experience.
