GIRL don't do it... I wasted all my staff lunch waiting for an egg and cheese bagel 😞. It's rude chaos and there's nowhere to sit. Employyes say 'i guess' to a request for butter, then look at you like you're stupid for not knowing there a 30 min wait at 1pm before you order... I don't care about weird corporate smiles and stuff, just don't want to be sighed or staged yelled at like directing unruly lines at a show. It's probably a stressful job, I'm trying not to cuss... This part of the building would be better off with a vending machine and just a peaceful sitting area... This is just abysmal...

I NEVER write reviews but this staff is so incredibly rude. Listen, I get it, I've worked in the food industry for 7 years, it can get busy, it can get hectic. But 30 minutes for a plain bagel with extra cream cheese (and then not even getting the extra I paid for) is a bit ridiculous. And you know what, I would still get that and be fine with it, but the fact that I'm watching the workers yap instead of doing anything except for one girl, the fact y'all aren't communicating with customers, and then to mock them, within earshot of them, after they waited THIRTY MINUTES for a bagel, with no apology, is ridiculous. Save yourself some time, go to the one in Benedum, staff is way kinder and way quicker.

The food is alight. But the workers are unbelievably rude and disrespectful to customers. They’ll ignore you for several minutes at a time. When you approach them to politely ask for an order, they shout at you. I asked for a side of cream cheese for my bagel, since they forgot it on my order. The worker then SCREAMS back bag me “NO, NOT TODAY!! WE DON’T HAVE ANY TO GIVE OUT!!” even though there were full bottles on the shelf that they were using. Consider hiring new employees.

My first time ordering here and definately will be the last. I was told to wait on the other side after payment, there was no clear guidance and the pickup rack was full of orders so I assumed it might be self pick up. When I briefly tried to locate my order, a staff member sharply told me I couldn’t do that because “other orders have nothing to do with you” even after I had already apologized.😅 I then waited a long time in the pickup area. The same staff member came over again to say I was blocking people because “this area is for online orders,” in a very rude tone. What made this worse: the guidance sign had been put away on the side; only after “correcting” me did she grab the sign and place it front and center. This experience ruined my morning. Won’t be returning.

This place gets a lot of bad reviews and since I go here on nearly a daily basis I thought I’d lyk what’s up. Food is good imo… little bulking hack if you’re a student u can get a breakfast sandwich using your meal swap that’s 1000+ calories and 50g of protein. Taste great too. A lot of people complain abt the waits but once u get used to it it’s not bad… u have to either go early in the morning before the rush (prob around 9) or just order on the Pitt mobile eats app assuming it’s gonna take an hour… so order like an hour before u want it to be ready. As for the staff… I can understand how u see them as rude… but all of my interactions with them have been good… always super nice and helpful. They do a lot of yelling when orders are ready and in the kitchen in general which is kinda chaotic but honestly funny and entertaining sometimes probably more so than annoying or problematic in any way. I mean at the end of the day… they have a lot of seating available and if u try and go there during the middle of the day it’s almost impossible to find somewhere to sit… and there’s always so many people ordering and coming in and out… so that should tell u all u need to know about their quality. Only complaint I have is can y’all please cut my bagel in half 😭 sometimes they do but like 75% of the time I’m just biting into this big breakfast sandwich and just making a mess. Thanks!
