  Easy valet parking. You pull right up to the front door at an outdoor kiosk, and they take the car. The entry staff was pleasant. Our table wasn’t ready, so we waited by the bar. The bar area was very crowded, but there are a few cocktail tables with seats nearby that work fine while you’re waiting. It’s also loud on the ground floor. The dress code wasn’t really enforced while we were there, so I wouldn’t stress about it. We saw everything from sport coats and dresses to a Carhartt shirt-jacket with jeans and a fitted hat, and another group in baggy jeans and boots. We were dressed in business casual. We were seated on the top floor, which was noticeably quieter. The atmosphere felt unpretentious. The food was good: the table bread is excellent, and we especially liked the dry-aged steak and the lobster mac. Having eaten at comparable restaurants around the country and overseas, I was a bit surprised by the prices. They are high, especially for Pittsburgh, and I don't think commensurate with the food quality, lightly enforced dress code, etc.. Still, overall it was a good experience.

  Food is similar to other downtown steakhouses. The vibe is more lively. Enjoyed the live music in the bar area. Service was lacking/frustrating. When trying to order a medium rare steak out server kept trying to talk me into medium. She said that “their medium rare was different”. I finally asked if the kitchen could do between medium rare and medium and she said that they have medium rare plus. That should have been mentioned. Has to ask for the wine list several times. Had trouble getting the check a the end. I am not normally a dessert person but the butter cake was amazing. A must try!

  I came to Del Frisco's for my birthday and i can tell from the moment i pass through the doors they make us feel like the most important persons in the restaurant. The ambience and the atmosphere was exceptional. Bread was good, meatballs eggrolls and bacon hot and phenomenal. My wife have a 12 Oz filet médium well that was cook perfect, my butterfly pork chop well done was incredible. They surprise us with an amazing platter. My wife love chocolate mousse cake and i love the butter cake. Special thanks for our server April and Claudio. The GM Nicholas and all the staff in the kitchen they went above and beyond in everything. You want a special place for your birthday dont look anywhere but Del Frisco's.

  My husband and I were there last night for a Valentine’s Day celebration. We sat at the top floor next to the wall of wine display. The restaurant is absolutely stunning with beautiful light fixtures and decor. Wendy was our server and was outstanding. She was so attentive, helped us decide on cocktails to start, wine pairings, and answered all our questions. It’s clear she cares about her customers’ experience. The food was exceptional. We started with a fresh Caesar, and the bread is a delicious, buttery, sweet treat. My husband had the filet, and I had crab cakes. We shared whipped potatoes and had strawberry cheesecake to finish. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor. My husband’s steak was cooked to perfection, and the crab cakes were out of this world. We live out of town, but I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an excellent experience in Pittsburgh and would definitely return. I look forward to checking out the location near me!

  We had a big group for a Galentine’s dinner at a steakhouse and ordered a little bit of everything — steaks cooked different ways, apps, drinks, sides, desserts… we were a lot to say the least. Our waiter, Jayme, handled it all flawlessly!! Jayme was patient, organized, and genuinely kind the entire night. Every order was accurate, timing was perfect, and he kept checking in without ever making us feel rushed. He also went out of his way to accommodate substitutions and made great recommendations. Huge thank you to Jayme for the incredible service!
