The momo had carrots in the filling, making it sweet, not authentic at all. We couldn’t finish it. The paneer tikka masala was overloaded with heavy cream, didn’t even look right, and tasted bad. We couldn’t finish that either. The laphing was far from authentic. We specifically requested no nuts, but they added a lot anyway. If you’re using the name “Bouddha Origin,” at least serve authentic Boudha-style food. We used to visit every week when it was named as Allegheny Spice — the previous owner maintained real authentic taste. Since the new ownership and rename as Boudha origin , quality and service have dropped badly. Good name, worst food. Would not recommend.

The food was truly impressive, and the service was warm and attentive from start to finish. We ordered the chili momo, chicken thukpa, laphing, and chicken 65, and each dish was packed with flavor. The chili momo had the perfect balance of heat and savoriness, the thukpa was comforting and refreshing, and the laphing offered a unique texture with lots of heat. The chicken 65 was crispy, bold, and absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’ll definitely be making the trip back again.
