  We have patronized Bella’s (DeLallo’s) for 25 years … I never post in a public form without first having a face-to-face discussion with the restaurant manager or owner. In this case, the face-to-face discussion failed … we were told to “mention it next time” Tonight’s experience as a party of 5 was simply unacceptable … -Appetizers (approximately $15 each) were burnt. -Waters not refilled, and wine glasses (big moneymaker) sat empty for 30+ minutes -After finishing our soup and salad, we waited 45 minutes for entrées with no explanation or acknowledgment of the delay. Many other tables were served before us. -When our meals finally arrived, they were cold or overcooked (including a $54 veal chop) -A $41 steak ordered medium arrived raw and bloody. After being sent back and waiting another 20 minutes, it was still incorrect. While it was comped, no apology was offered for the guest who sat without a meal while others ate. Mistakes happen … what disappointing is the complete lack of acknowledgment from the server, manager, or owner. Being told to “mention it next time” is not an acceptable response, particularly when a check is more than $300 pre-tip. We left without ordering dessert or after dinner drinks, which would have easily added another $75 to the check. You need to do better!

  If you're looking for delicious food, a great selection with a unique flare that you don't find in every other restaurant, a classy and elegant atmosphere, with excellent service, and fair prices, you won't find a better restaurant in Pittsburgh. I felt like I was transported back in time when customers mattered and were appreciated and when.food was prepared and present with pride.

  I went to Bella’s today we were a party of four. The service was excellent. Our server was a lovely Irish lady, she did a great job. However I was disappointed with my meal. I had linguine with white clam sauce which I had there before and it was always excellent but this time it was bad. It was more like linguine soup because it was swimming in watery white sauce. In addition I think they used spaghetti in stead of linguine.

  We devoured the fried zucchini before I even got a chance to take a picture. Horseradish sauce goes really well with them. Everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend the seafood ravioli al dente. Professional service and welcoming atmosphere, homey yet classy. Easy and sufficient parking.

  First timer for 2 of us for lunch on a Wednesday; without a reservation, we were seated at a high-top in bar area and served by Danielle (dip). She was awesome and very patient , and advised is to try and always make a reservation ( they were packed for lunch). My friend had spots topped w lump crab - she loved it! I will order that on my next visit - looked amazing ($24, included soup or salad and a side). I had chicken marsala, fair portion, but though sauce was very bland. Chicken was nice and tender. All salad dressings are said to be made in-house. $1 extra for blue cheese (good). House wine $8, nice pour. Will definitely come back and will request Danielle !
