  I don’t leave reviews, but this place truly deserves one. This was my second time here and the food is absolutely delicious every single time. Everything is flavorful, and cooked perfectly bot times. What really stands out though is the hospitality it’s genuinely outstanding. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. If you’re thinking about trying this spot, definitely go. I’ll 100% be coming back again and again.

  Woondal Restaurant & Grill is a gem! The food was absolutely incredible — some of the best I've had in a very long time. On top of that, the warm, genuine Bangali hospitality was on full display. Our server Mustafa was gracious, attentive, and welcoming in a way that made us feel right at home. This is the real deal. Highly recommend!

  Love, love, love the chicken lollipops here - great service and I especially love the floor seating. Great for celebrating and eating together with friends & family 🫶🏻

  I had a great experience and would definitely come back. The service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The food was just as impressive. Everything came out fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place with great food and genuinely attentive staff.

  This is the worst tasting Indian restaurant I have been to that I can remember. The service and staff are excellent. The atmosphere is good considering that this is not a 5-star fine dining restaurant. But where this fails is the food taste. I understand why it had high reviews. Because the primary customer base is people who’re not expecting an authentic experience like Dilli-Wala-taste or Mumbaikar taste or Hyderabadi zaika but typical Americanized-Indian taste. Not what you expect from the excellent restaurants opening in DC but something basic like the restaurant New Delhi in university city. #disappointed
