  The best Indian restaurant my wife and i have found since moving out of Seattle 15 years ago. - Samosas were perfect - Saag Paneer was delicious - Tandoori chicken was some the best we've ever had - the chutneys were very good The service was great. Attentive and friendly staff. I don't think either of us paid much attention to the menu prices but we were very surprised when the bill came how inexpensive it was. We live 90 minutes away but will definitely pop in again next time we're in Philly.

  I have finally found a delicious Indian restaurant near my job after trying so many restaurants! The food is just so fresh and delicious! I had a samosa chaat and a masala dosa. Every bite was so yummy! I am very picky about my Indian food. The service was also perfect! I loved it so much that I brought some food to my Indian colleague who is as picky as I am—and she loved it too! She said next time she will come with me to eat in person. I can’t wait to come back!

  This was absolutely the best chicken curry I’ve ever had. I love the upfront honesty with the spice level. If you want it spicy, you must let them know. Otherwise, it will be a very tolerable low level space. Personally, I love as spicy as they can make it. The chicken was so tender, my fork was able to cut it in bite-size places. I highly recommend this place.

  This is my first time ever going to this restaurant. My friend hosted a group of friends who I am associated with and he successfully made it feel comfortable for all of us. The dosa dinner I had this evening was so delicious and I even loved the mango lassi too! Now the negative view of the restaurant. The space is too small to host a big party of people. Now I don’t blame the restaurant venue, but if the restaurant could renovate the space to accommodate more people and make the restaurant more comfortable, I would definitely consider this place for dinner for a party of 10-20 people

  My partner and I were celebrating good news and craving a masala dosa, when we saw this place's positive reviews and decided to try it for the first time. We had SUCH a stellar experience. The dining room was cozy and understated, the service was effusive and warm, and the food was utterly delicious--not to mention so affordable. I'm a vegetarian, but my partner reported their tandoori chicken, served on a sizzling platter, was delicious. My anjeer kofta with figs was, no lie, something I could eat every day for the rest of my life and die happy. With garlic naan, paratha, lemongrass chai tea, and the chutneys and sambar that accompanied the dosa, we had a feast. And did I mention the folks who work there are lovely? It was especially nice that they asked for our spice preference and then checked in afterward to make sure things had been spiced well. I'm from Houston, where South Indian restaurant options are plentiful and otherworldly. Until now, I hadn't found anything remotely comparable on the East Coast. But I'll be going back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
