  I’m very disappointed with my recent delivery experience. I placed an order through the Papa John’s website and specifically selected door service, which means the driver is supposed to wait and hand the order directly to the customer. My delivery was scheduled for 7:00 PM, but it was dropped off early at 6:45 PM. I later found out that even though I ordered through the Papa John’s website, the delivery was outsourced to DoorDash. The DoorDash driver called once, but instead of giving me a chance to return the call, waiting a moment, or attempting to contact me again, they immediately left my pizza on the ground outside the front door of my apartment building, and sent a photo. What makes this even worse is that it was raining at the time. Thankfully there is a small cover near the entrance that prevented the box from getting completely soaked, but leaving someone’s food on the ground outside in the rain, especially when door service was selected, is completely unacceptable. I’m extremely frustrated that I wasn’t even given the opportunity to call back before my food was left on the ground outside in the rain. If Papa John’s is going to outsource deliveries to third-party services like DoorDash, customers should still receive the service they selected and paid for.

  The food was wasn't bad tasting, i orded a med cheese pizza & a Papadea! but the Papadea barely had any steak in it😒 I mean only maybe a spoonful if that!! I would never order a papadea from them again ! I really should have complained to door dash and got a refund for it. But I was too tired, and I was hungry, didn't feel like it! So I basically it just ate a dough sandwich😠 people spend money to treat themselves or maybe they are tired & don't feel like cooking but if you're a business, You should know how to prepare meals, right🙏 Anyone could see that wasn't a papadea sandwich😤 that was just bread😠.

  I originally ordered a pan pizza which was their new special deal online, I was then contacted and told that they didn't have the pan pizza and could they replace it with a medium for the same price. I live near the Art Museum and when I initially ordered I thought I was sending it to a Papa John's on Broad Street when it was actually in University City, I'm not sure who takes the blame for that one.

  Honestly i have no problems with this spot. They're open late and the pizza was fine. Order online for pickup to get exactly what you want at the cheapest price.
