Security guard saw me coming in, followed me to the freezer section then back to the register to ensure I paid. I know loss protection is tough but you don’t have to profile people. I know there is someone always watching cameras no need to be extra. But should’ve known AUS is a horrible security company that’ll hire any warm body.

Today my birthday I come here everyday in the morning before my shift to get a protein shake , I work at a hospital nearby and after my shift Tried to get a bottle of wine and they wouldn’t help me because I didn’t have my ID . But these people see me everyday you can type if my birthday like you guys did before a few months ago . Was in my uniform and everything and the girl still didn’t help me . She was a girl was dressed like a boy with braids in her hair .march 24th 4:53pm
Won’t be back to this location .
Staff is typically nice but today they had attitudes

1. This is a smaller Giant store on Penn campus. I don't go to this store for full grocery hauls. It does well for filler items like canned chicken or frozen produce.
2. Staff are civil, friendly. Customers mind their own business.
3. Aisles are sometimes blocked.
I like this location to get Giant sales when I am in the area.

I had a very uncomfortable experience at this store today. As a Black shopper wearing a backpack, I noticed that the security guard followed me around the store while other shoppers were able to browse freely. I have shopped here before and always pay for my groceries, so being singled out like that felt extremely unfair and racially biased.
To make matters worse, when I needed assistance at the self-checkout, the employee who came over had an obvious attitude and was not helpful at all. The entire interaction made me feel unwelcome and judged.
No customer should feel targeted or treated differently because of how they look. I hope management takes this seriously and provides better training to staff and security so that all customers are treated with respect and fairness.

The morning customer service representative has a nasty attitude. Whenever the self-checkout requires assistant to scan a bottle of water she acts like it is the customer's fault. Spoke with the manager about her attitude, but won't be back when she is on shift. If she doesn't want to deal with people, maybe a position not dealing with the public is better suited.
