I didn't find the coffee very good (the steaming was done well, but the espresso was not so good (probably low quality Robusta beans?)). I also had the potato and leek quiche and, perhaps it was a coincidence, but I felt really nauseous and unwell shortly after eating it - to my knowledge, it has eggs and milk, but it wasn't stored in a fridge. Only afterwards did I think to myself, "Oh, yeah... maybe I shouldn't have ordered it then." It was also veryyy expensive. The quiche slice + a whole milk 12 oz latter amounted to almost $18.00 (w/o tip). Otherwise, they have a lot of beautiful and nice options for pastries. The lemon scone and especially the fig pastry were super pretty, but I'm afraid to try any of their pastries again. Despite being in a pretty open, lobbyesque, space, the set up is quite pretty.

they sell properly made croissants (flaky, buttery, fresh). Unfortunately though my chocolate croissant tasted like someone accidentally spilt too much salt into it. good coffee

This has been on my list for a LOOOOOONG time but I'm rarely downtown on a week day morning to stop by. SO GOOD, worth trekking from city hall Beautiful space, lots of hustle and bustle of well heeled business folks but also calming. Staff are super welcoming and laid back. I got an espresso and some pastries because I certainly don't pass up any place that has in house pastry chefs 👌🏼 I got an apple pie macaron with the most beautiful delicate feet which told me I was in for a delight and they did not disappoint. These were light and airy as they should be! The carrot cake is not to be passed up, it's also served downstairs in the restaurant and you may think how can banana bread be elevated, well injected with Nutella and glazed with rich chocolate ganache will certainly do the trick. HIGHLY recommend but I'm very late to reviewing this place just adding more positive praise
