On a shore excursion deep in the jungles of Belize at the cusp of an ancient ruin there was a small shack set up that was offering burgers cooked precariously and with questionable hygiene, I thought I'd encountered the worst burger in the world. Until visiting this location in the Philadelphia airport. What you see here clocked $26 and was inedible. The tots were 80% oil, the burger was something you'd get from a dirty gas station microwave, but worse, soaked in a lake of questionable condiments. The meat was mysterious. The service was scornful and rife with disdain. A request by another customer for extra ketchup was met with initial rejection and then annoyed acquiescence. The best part about this experience was leaving.

American double smash burger was pretty good for airport food. Tater tots were trash.

Burger was actually pretty good, but it ends there. The employees are miserable in their jobs. The owners are extremely cheap. $55 for 2 burgers, fries and small drinks - but not even allowing soda refills is actually disgusting. Owner - skip the copy/paste pretend reply you give everyone about missing the mark and you are sorry. You are not really, this is your business model and you are happy with it. Will find other alternatives in airports next time.
