- RWRachel Weisman5 days ago1.0Do not do Giant Direct here!!! I had my order scheduled to be between 3-4pm. I showed up at 3:30 and was told that they were running behind. No worries, things happen. I wait 30 minutes, at which point I could have done the shopping on my own, with no update. I had somewhere to be, so I wanted to just quickly get my online order and go. Once it hit 4pm, I went inside to customer service to ask if I could just cancel the order and do my shopping myself. Miraculously as soon as I came to complain, my order was ready. When I went to get my order (since I was already inside), they had misread the order and thought I got 18 bags of frozen peas. I could have easily taken them all, but I told them I only ordered the one bag and they took the rest of them back. I understand that sometimes things happen, but I don't know how they messed up this bad. I've learned my lesson and will just shop myself because I clearly had the wrong idea about Giant Direct being a time saver.
