Terrible delivery bagging process. I didn’t have enough to respond to order changes. Only 5 items! Delivery one our late. I’m sick and didn’t get the item I wanted most. I will never get delivery from Giant again.
Not a bad grocery location but the giant direct here is horrible compared to other locations, the heavier young lady who works this location can be very rude as if she’s annoyed that you are there to pick up your order and had to bring it out. The app mysteriously clears that you have arrived but meanwhile you’re still waiting for as much as 20 min with no one waiting in the pick up. Also there have been times when the item is in stock but my order will have not in stock, I knew the item was there so I went inside and purchased it myself. All in all it’s a pretty nice grocery store, I just wish I knew when certain workers worked so I can order on those days.
I had a very disappointing experience with the older white lady with white/grey hair who works the morning shift at the cashier.
Her behavior was dismissive, uninformed, and unnecessarily rude.

The Giant on 23rd St has become my regular grocery store, and I genuinely enjoy shopping here.
It’s the perfect size, clean, bright, modern, and well-lit. One of the biggest perks is the free covered parking, which is easy to access and almost always has available spots. That alone makes errands much less stressful in this part of the city.
The selection strikes a great balance. There are plenty of options without feeling like a massive megastore that leads to decision fatigue. I consistently find the fish, chicken, beef, and produce to be fresh and well-stocked. The staff is also reliably friendly and helpful, which makes a big difference. They also sell beer and wine, which is convenient and rounds out the selection nicely.
This isn’t a discount grocery store, but considering the location and quality, I think it offers good value. It’s not trying to be gourmet or artisanal, either. It’s practical, well-maintained, and thoughtfully operated. Whether I’m picking up a few items or doing a full grocery haul, it’s always a pleasant experience.
The loyalty program provides real savings, the website app is reliable, and overall, the store feels fresh and modern without going overboard. It fits perfectly into the Center City neighborhood and is a place I genuinely enjoy shopping at.

The next morning, where is my billfold? After searching all over, it dawned on me, the last place I used it was at Giant. Walking to Giant, I checked my credit cards, no transactions, a good sign. Going into the store, anxiety is mounting. approaching the service counter. I asked the lady if there was a billfold turned in, she called for another lady to open a locked drawer, there it was! Everything in it! Everything! No clue as to who turned it in or if it past hands from one to another before going into the drawer but there is was. i said many thanks yous, once outside looked up at tbe grey sky said some more and one last, thank you Giant.
