Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing. We arrived at 9:30 PM and the kitchen didn’t close until 10:30 PM, yet the front desk staff seemed confused about seating us, which immediately set an awkward tone.
Once seated, the service was not attentive, and the food did not meet expectations in either quality or presentation. Given the timing and the overall experience, it felt rushed and unwelcoming rather than accommodating.
A waste of calories, I will not be returning.

We had dinner in the restaurant section (beautifully decorated and appealing atmosphere) which is on the ground floor. Hubby had the Smash Burger (loved it) and I had the hummus dip with crudite. The hummus dip was nicely prepared but a pinch of salt and/or extra lemon would've made it perfect however the tables were not equipped with salt & pepper shakers. When there's no salt and pepper I assume someone will be offended if you ask so I didn't. The crudite was in a cup that fell over on the serving tray and the server picked it up, touching the food with his gloved hand which seemed appropriate but I also saw a different server using his gloved hand to pick up a napkin off the floor so I couldn't be sure it was okay. The crudite was simply carrots and celery which appeared pretty dried out anyway so no loss there. I am gluten free so no pita for me but I had prepared by bringing a few gf crackers, etc. A friend had the buffalo chicken sandwich and loved it. It was a real chicken breast and was a very large portion. Another friend also had a smash burger and wanted some mayo but was told none was available since the burger had a special sauce but overall he enjoyed it. Hubby's sprite was nice and fizzy. I wanted to try some wine so I had a glass of the Sweet Philly Red. It was delicious and not overly sweet. I will say it also seems to be a pretty clean wine because I am very sensitive to additives and chemicals and I had no reaction. If I had noticed a bottle of it on the shelf I would have definitely purchased one to go. The staff were very pleasant and very accommodating and Lisa our waitress was more than excellent. We enjoyed a concert downstairs afterwards and though the seating is tight and tables are small we were comfortable enough and still had a great time. So if you're attending a concert and need to meet your $25 or two item quota, for a more comfortable and relaxing experience, I would definitely recommend to make a reservation to eat in the restaurant section a couple hours before your show and carry your receipt with you downstairs. Overall I had a good time, however, I do wish there were more options that were both gluten free AND vegan like maybe have a gluten free version of the mushroom risotto balls with a vegan feta. How about a chickpea curry or a 3 bean chili over rice. Both would be easy to prepare and economical as well. I have ideas for days. There were some side dishes on the restaurant menu that weren't on the online menu so keep that in mind. But, it can be difficult and/or boring for us gluten free vegan eaters to have a real entrée. We're not all salad eaters (we can have salad at home) and we get tired of eating side dishes (i.e. broccoli and rice). But I am grateful there was something on the menu for me to eat and enjoy the company of my friends and would definitely return. I'm looking forward to trying some other wines as well.

Went for New Year’s to City Winery. This was our first visit. Not impressed at all! This is not a True Winery experience. We ordered a bottle of Wine and the server came out with an already opened bottle of wine. It was obvious the wine was poured into the bottle. It was not freshly opened by our server. Also the fixed Menu sucked… wanted to see if I could substitute the Filet Mignon with extra shrimp(Land and Sea was Filet Mignon and Shrimp) and was told no by server but then asked to speak with Manger and they said yes-of course since it saves them $. We spent over $500 for 4 for a less than average experience. Probably will never go back.

Great venue for music and entertainment. I’m not sure if it’s for all shows, but definitely for the larger shows they have a minimum that you must spend on food and drinks. I am a foodie and I wouldn’t mind if the food was actually delicious. The food is edible but it’s just “meh” and barely that. It’s nothing I want to be forced to purchase. And the cocktails are put in the smallest glass possible for $20. I’ll come back but it would it would have to be for someone I really want to see… so they may get my patronage once or twice per year.

Just left City Winery, after seeing the Men of Soul show. The 3 review comes from the average of the food which was a1, and the band which was a 5. The band was EXCELLENT!! They were talented, and engaging. The food, on the other hand was bad and horribly over priced. We ordered the shareable Mediterranean dip appetizer. Most of the dips were bland and left a lot to be desired. We ordered the wings which were about 22.00 for 5 0r 6. They tasted like heartburn on a plate, way overly peppered and we like spice! 3 of the 6 remained and went to the trash when they cleaned our table. The mushroom risotto balls were mediocre, as well as the hamburger. I guess the highlight was the cookie skillet. The drinks were ok (long Island iced tea and peach blanc spritzer), but nothing special
