  Had a wonderful time at butcher bar with some friends! The vibe was immaculate and the servers were all so friendly, highly recommend!

  I went by myself on 2/14 at 3:20p to enjoy a nice steak and a drink or two. As I walked in, I waited for at the hostess stand. She was watching me enter then looked down and I waited, until eventually saying, “hi I’ll just sit at the bar.” She said okay and barely looked up. I sat at the bar for around 15 minutes without a greeting, no one even behind the bar, but workers watched and during that 15 mins a couple came in and waited to be greeted as well. Confused they left after about 5 mins, but I was hungry and I don’t drive so I didn’t want to leave. A woman can from outside and came behind the bar flustered, at this point I was the only one at the bar, but she did not greet me, or ask me if I needed anything even though I was sitting right in front of her. It was so unusual to me that I wasn’t sure if she worked behind the bar, or not so I asked. Surprisingly she was the bartender, she gave me a menu, I reviewed and a second bartender joined her. When I was visibly done reviewing the menu, pushed it aside, neither of them asked me, the only person at the bar if I wanted a drink. So again, I had to speak first and ask if she had time to make me a drink. Which she did and it was delicious. Because I got there at before the kitchen opened I had to wait not very long, but I had to wait until the kitchen opened the get the full menu, but prior I ordered a salad to hold me off until I was able to order the steak I was dying for! Again, I ordered another of the same drink, which was very good again, but this time I had to ask the man bartender. And a few minutes later I asked the woman for the salad. The bar is but so big, I was sitting right where they were and entered, but neither of them came to me and asked me if I was doing okay during my entire visit. It was very disappointing. Eventually 4:10p came and I ordered my ribeye, medium-rare, I prefer medium, but I am so used to restaurants overcooking my steak that I try to order a temp lower. My steak came out maybe 15-20 mins later and it was medium-well and so tough and chewy! I was just so frustrated, because of the service, inattention to the first and only person at the bar for probably a half hour and I knew I was working up a tab, for just the toughest driest steak I’ve had at a steakhouse and drinks I had to nearly beg for.. as much as I love steak, I didn’t finish it because my jaw got so tired from chewing it. I didn’t complain, or ask for something new, they are not a chain I do and I’ve been a server before, my bill with the 3 drinks, the salad and the ribeye was 148.84. I left about a $50 tip, but I do regret the money I spent at this establishment this day. Also, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, urine all of the seats, still in the toilet and on the floor. The tissue was exposed so who knows what was on that. I feel as if I should’ve said something, but the bartends, the hostess, their service was unfortunately so poor I felt my opinion would be meaningless. I hope they were just not in the present moment because of concerns of what the evening would look like because of Valentine’s Day, but every customer matters. I’m always up for spending a good $200 on a tab when I’m treating myself. I do it about once a week. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience and was not worth what I spent.. I may return for the brunch menu, I’ve been here before and my server that day was so nice and attentive during the brunch hour, but I doubt it will be soon.

  If you pay 65 dollars tax included, then you scan QR code which shows a lot of numbers and in the end you pay 77 dollars even though you didn't agree about the tip in the app, that's a bad joke. A tip for what? That the waitress came 2x and then you self-service paid the bill?
