Besides the flourtown one, this is probably the next best Acme in the mt airy, gtown, chestnut hill general area. They usually have everything in stock, and often have some pretty good deals. They also have a small discount section. It's a buyer beware situation for produce and the frozen department. One of the open top freezers of various seafoods had been totally thawed out on one of our visits. We also got pretty sick off of one of the prepared queso dips last year. 3 days of being sick. Haven't bought that again. My biggest complaint is the produce quality. The shelving for veggies etc is pretty dirty. There's actually moss growing on one of the gages for the misting system. I understand it won't be perfect with the constant moisture. But man, it's a bit excessive. Wash your veggies!! on more than one occasion some of the food is straight up rotting on the shelves. We avoided all the broccoli on a recent trip since a bunch of it was sitting down in the nastiest part of the shelving and most of it wasn't even good enough to buy. Despite these issues in the produce section, their fruits are usually much better and their organics section, while small, typically has a good variety. Staff are very friendly and helpful. On several occasions a sale item didn't have ring up correctly and the cashier has personally walked over to the isle to find the item and adjust it for us. All in all. It's better than most of the other options around and not usually too crowded or crazy inside. Just watch what you buy and check it closely.

Was at Crittenden Street today at pharmacy. Decided to get a money order. There was only one lady in line being waited on. After waiting 15 minute or longer. Asked manager if I could get help for a money, as the woman in front of me was did not have her numbers on play cards and the clerk and she could not seem to understand each other very. He stated yes that is a big problem customers not having the numbers on a play card and walked away. So, I did the same. Will never go to that customer service again. This was around 9:30 - 10:00 in the morning.
