When you walk in, there’s a bar you have to pass and it immediately scans you, and there are multiple cameras tracking every move. I don’t feel like customers are told enough about how much data is being collected or how it’s being used. I now only do curbside pickup because I don’t want to deal with that level of monitoring. I hope the store becomes more transparent about its technology so people can make informed choices.

The lady Cathy with blonde hair is consistently making us feel uncomfortable. She hovers over us as we’re scanning items then proceeds to tell us to hurry up. As were scanning continues to make sly comments. Meanwhile im a paying customer. A couple words more and Cathy would’ve been harassing us. I spoke with other neighbors in the area and we can all agree that Cathy needs to be moved from registers and to stop dealing with customers. If Acme can’t do that, they need to let her go.
