I honestly can’t believe how bad my experience was with Primo Hoagies (Port Richmond) on East Clearfield St.
I ordered through Uber Eats around 4:52 p.m. — just a simple Old World Style Meatball Hoagie and Italian Hoagie Chips. When my food showed up a little after 5, it wasn’t even my order. Completely wrong items, someone else’s name on the receipt.
I called the driver, and he was polite — said that’s what the restaurant gave him. I called the store and spoke with Kayla, and that’s when things went downhill fast. She was rude, talked over me the whole time, and basically blamed Uber Eats for everything. When I asked for a manager, she said there wasn’t one available and told me my original order was still sitting there over an hour later!
I told her I had placed another order for the same thing and just wanted to make sure it would be fresh, but she clearly didn’t care. She said the manager would call me, and around 5:57 p.m., Chris finally did. He was nice and apologized, said my sandwich was being remade fresh and a driver was already picking it up.
Well… when it arrived, it was stone cold, the bread was soggy, and the receipt showed my original 4:52 p.m. order — meaning they never remade it at all. They literally sent me a sandwich that had been sitting out for over an hour.
Absolutely disgusting and disappointing. Between getting the wrong order, being treated so rudely, and being lied to about a “fresh” sandwich, I’ll never order from this location again. I used to love Primo Hoagies, but this experience completely ruined it for me.
