  We love Cumin n Eat! We patronized the one in Allentown and are so thankful to have a location much closer to us in Northampton. The best thing is that they have a weekly entree sampler, one vegetarian sampler and one meat sampler. You get four small size entrees with different sauces (and proteins), rice, and garlic butter naan for one price. It is more than enough food for two people to share. As someone who tends to always order the same thing, I can't say enough about how much I enjoy trying the new-to-me sauces! This week, in the sampler, we had Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Makhani, Shrimp Korma and Chicken Kadai. All of them were different and wonderful - the Vindaloo was powered by chiles (but not overly spicy), the Kadai was onion-based, Makhani is tomatoes, butter and cream (YUM) and Korma is a creamy, cashew-based sauce. The Kadai (not a sauce that we've ever ordered) was our surprise favorite. It's an onion-based gravy that is so savory and good. I appreciate the fact that everything is made fresh, too, and the dining room is cute, clean and quiet. Service is prompt and friendly. I don't have photos because we ate everything.

  Great atmosphere, first time trying Indian food and was very helpful with explaining what everything was and giving recommendations. Would definitely recommend coming here!

  first time eating here. as someone who loves Indian cuisine, Cumin N Eat is outstanding. the food is a 10 out of 10. friendly service and a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. will absolutely eat here again.

  Everything we've ever ordered from here has been absolutely delicious! Every detail is handled with care. Portion sizes are generous, flavors are rich and bright. The owner is so cheerful and welcoming! He always encourages us to try new things that will pair well with what we've chosen (burratta bread, for example - it's like a croissant pancake, so buttery and delicious!!!) Wonderful place. I would give 6 stars of I could!!

  Food was absolutely delightful, as was our waiter Jack. Very accessible for those who don’t know much about Indian food, as there are pictures and explanations for all the food upon request. Freshly cooked, amazing food at a variety of spice levels was great too.
