- LCLars Crooks3 days ago2.0Years ago during the extensive renovation of the store I happened to enter the store at the same time as an employee who was blind. As he made his way into the store I heard him remark: Giant, house of horrors. At the time this related to the fact that things were moved on a regular basis during the renovation. So every time he came to work things were in a different place and unpredictable for someone without sight. I didn't realize that this was the shape of things to come and have been increasingly disappointed with the pricing and operation of the establishment. I have never had issues with the personnel and have always found them to be friendly and helpful, but the pricing structure, removal of critical employees and forced use of self-checkout with absolutely no concern for customers, time or shopping experience leaves me to choose a 30-minute drive to an establishment with better pricing and a more functional self-checkout system and the option to interact with a cashier. I will only use this store out of necessity from now on.
