The pot liquor was rich and savory without being overwhelmed by vinegar, which is a rare and welcome surprise. As for the honey cornbread--finally, cornbread that tastes like cornbread! Not a slice of yellow cake in disguise, but a true, honey-kissed classic. The Pineapple Mango drink was light, refreshing, and just sweet enough. No syrupy aftertaste, just clean tropical flavor. Kay was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the space was spotless. Smooth R&B played in the background, setting the perfect laid-back vibe while I waited for my food. I'll absolutely be a repeat customer. The prices were on point and better than any fast-food restaurant.
