The restaurant was clean and the service was prompt, even though the drive-through was busy. The server at the counter was friendly and helpful.

I live right next to this place so food is easy if I don't feel like cooking. My overall experience is alright, and their food is better before noon, or at least 2pm. The next shift after that is awful and they are slow and miss items and the food quality drops dramatically.
Ordered a $5 burger meal deal and a regular sized shamrock mcflurry. It took me a few minutes to walk to the store then when I got in there, another 10 minutes or so until my order came out, and I STILL had to wait for my mcflurry, it wasn't done. There were maybe 4 people in the store with an empty drive thru, and 3 orders total on their screen.
My food was cold, and my shamrock mcflurry was half-full and not mixed, and was very messy with sauce and ice cream on the outside of the cup. I sent a complaint in to their corporate care/support and did not receive a refund, so $5 for what was basically a "mini size" in a regular cup, is ridiculous. This McDonalds is the worst in the area and I'd have been better off driving myself to Lewisburg to get better food.
I have also witnessed employees playing with their uniform/outfit and not washing their hands after, not wearing a hat (hair can get into the food) and yelling at each other behind the counter to "get to work and stay off their phones." The kids working there are an absolute joke and they need to do an overhaul on employment or train better otherwise they won't improve.
In my experience there is only one manager that actually cares. I'm not sure if he is the GM or not but he is always really nice and helps people out when they need it, and I think that's part of the reason that morning/mid shift is a lot better quality/service-wise. And I feel bad for calling the store out because that reflects poorly on him, doing his best when the crew is falling short.
TL;DR: Food is not great, takes a long time despite being less busy than peak times. Portions smaller than they should be.
