  Approached the bakery and asked if I could place an order for a cake. Immediate response was for associate to shrug her shoulders and sarcastically say “when”. I said never mind and did report to the manager. A few months earlier I ordered from same person. Her attitude then was same. It was a Sunday and I was ordering for Wednesday. She told me she was off Tuesday so it couldn’t be early on Wednesday. I told myself then I would not order from this store again yet here I was today trying to order again. Not sure if she is only cake decorator, overworked or what but her customer service is horrible, body language and overall tone is unacceptable. Manager I spoke to was polite so I appreciated that. He did not appear to be surprised by my complaint so thinking this is a common occurrence with this associate.

  Nice store, but for some reason there's absolutely no way to get there easily on foot -- the sidewalk abruptly ends at Giant's property. Fixing that (and maybe even adding a real bike rack!) would make this store, adjacent to a residential area, much more accessible.

  Lots of empty shelves. Store had been open for 2 hours and nothing had been stocked yet.

  Bad service and bad customer service and there was this guy I asked him a question and he told me to stay in the line and then this woman came after me came up to him and asked him a question and he helped her he did not tell her to be in the line and started be nice to her and I also was in the line?!

  This place is absolutely abhorrent. Why is it that there's a 90 year old lady running the self scan doing absolutely nothing? The only person on an actual register is a special needs kid. I'm forced to ring up my own groceries a wild thought that somebody in retail decided was a good idea. Then you have the audacity to ask me if I'd like to round up so that you guys can use it as a tax write-off, what collecting others money and turning it in as your own but not donating anything by yourself. Then surprise guess what, I'm not a cashier so I had issues using the POS system. Where is my help? 90 years old on the other side of the aisle with their hands and her pockets leaned up against a cart looking the wildered. You guys are 100% contributing to the downfall of the normal American grocery store. Absolute shame on you as a company and as a management team who decided that it was the best practice to have 38 employees walking around shopping for people's groceries but nobody helping actual customers. 1or 2 self checkout Lanes to help out people who are in a rush is one thing but forcing people to use it is another. I live and work less than a mile from this giant and avoid it like the plague if I can. It's past time for self-reflection, you guys need to make a change.
