- TMToni MercerDec 15, 20251.0Just wanted to say and make people aware of checking out all the dates on foods that are being sold there!! Make sure especially to check on the fresh meats packed on dates and the sell by dates, and also the prepared salads, and other prepared items!! I would check every date on every item purchased there, I had to learn this the hard way!! I have purchased several items there only to get them home and open them only to get an awful smell, and the item just didn't look right, checked packed on a sell by date, and it had been packed way before the sell by date, which had expired!! Not happy with this at all!! The prices of foods are outrageous as it is, and then have to throw it out, is not exceptable at all!! Just got hamburger patties yesterday, went to cook them and opened them up and the smell made me sick, they had to be thrown in the trash!! Alot of money lost by buying outdated food items at this store, so please be careful and aware when you shop there, at the Mcconnellsburg Pa Giant!!!
