Cost is the main concern I have at this store as it is easy to pick up a lot of items and have a much higher bill than you planned. Unlike Weis markets there are not many deals like buy one loaf of bread get another half off. They are open until 11 pm which is good if you work late and can’t go to the store sooner. I’ve had problems with syncing my Giant card with the app. The app doesn’t always show my home store as Lewisburg. Tonight I was frightened by seeing police enter Giant. I’m not sure if they’re going in for food too or if crimes are going down at this large grocery store. One thing I will say about Giant and Weis is that they should raise the pay for their workers to keep and retain staff within their stores. I am amazed at the many and unusual products that are available here. However, the higher prices on many items causes me to actually buy fewer items here and be more selective about what I purchase.

The store gets a two rating because of the level of scrutiny of shoppers on the main floor. People incessantly follow you around the store and constantly interrupt the shopping by asking questions and seeing if you’re OK. I’m a New Yorker, just let me do my shopping, pay and get out. We don’t need a little robot following customers all around the store either. 12/12/2025 1030 am
