- PNPaul Neuin6 days ago3.0Burger and hot dog were fantastic but the fries were hard as a rock. I expect $10 French fries to be good. Idk if they cooked them from raw to finish without the half way cook style (cook for about 3 1/2 minutes then let rest, but they were awful. Will order burgers and hot dogs again but not fries.

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
