    I’ve been a loyal Giant customer for over 27 years, consistently impressed by the brand’s reputation for quality, value, and outstanding customer service. Unfortunately, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed. I purchased Giant brand whole milk more than a week ago, with a clearly marked sell-by date of October 29. On October 27—two days before that date—I used the milk to make tea, only to find it had already gone sour. When I brought the product back to the store, I was met by the new Store Manager, Liz Garcia, who asked for the receipt and implied that milk can spoil if not used within a certain number of days. When I asked for clarification about the meaning of the sell-by date, she responded, “I don’t know—you’ll have to ask the manufacturer.” As a customer, I consider Giant to be the manufacturer. That label carries responsibility for product quality and clarity. If the sell-by date doesn’t guarantee freshness until that time, it should be clearly communicated. Dismissing a valid concern and deflecting accountability undermines the trust customers place in the Giant brand. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to reinforce the standards of customer care that Giant has long been known for. ---
