Absolutely horrible, I walked in was ordering a burrito, skipped rice and she put 5 tiny pieces of chicken and tried to slide it down to the next station. Was literally maybe an oz of chicken. I told them nevermind on the order and left, what a joke
I have mixed feelings about Chipotle. The food is okay; it has flavor and is pretty filling. Their limited edition flavors are probably their best, most flavorful options. However, no matter what protein you choose, they will NOT give you an adequate amount of it. Oh and did I mention that they will charge you at least $11 for a few pieces of chicken in a burrito?! It's so ridiculous, it's not even funny. The service is mediocre at best, but it depends on the person. Some employees are very nice but others can be so rude. I do NOT recommend this place if you have food allergies/intolerances. This place is very lazy when it comes to keeping different foods separate. I've seen dairy products mixed in with other foods on numerous occasions. This not only displays a certain level of carelessness but it may cause potential harm to those with food allergies/intolerances.
Update: After seeing all the other negative reviews, I think I was too generous with my review. 😂 I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way about Chipotle.

This location is a complete joke. Every single meal I ordered was wrong… not one, not two, but ALL THREE. I wasted money, gas, and time, and the staff couldn’t care less. No apology. No solution. No professionalism. On top of that, how is a restaurant out of food TWO HOURS before closing? To make it worse, they didn’t even bother to tell me they chose replacements for my order, no notice, no confirmation, nothing. Honestly, the entire evening staff should be fired. Easily the worst Chipotle Mexican Grill in Lancaster with the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The workers are not nice at all- all hate their job and make the messiest tacos. So if you’re in the mood for disappointment then this is the place for you. If you order online make sure to go 15 minutes after the scheduled time because its never ready.

I'm rewriting this previous 5 Star review after multiple bad experiences at this location since. Running out of product at 3PM is unacceptable! I have had this happen numerous times now at various times of the day. The employees didn't have a backup bin of rice or corn or the protein they ran out of - I was told there was none left. Meanwhile the online order work station had ALL ingredients available. I took the time to come in and order my food in-person and should have been given the courtesy of Chipolte using the online order ingredients to complete my order. This location is starting to really frustrate me.
I love Chipolte as its very healthy, fresh, relatively affordable and clean but not having certain proteins or rice at 3PM on a Wednesday is unacceptable. On previous occasions it was no corn and no queso and a specific protein. The service is hit or miss but today's visit on 2/16/2026 the service sucked. I had two female employees that barely spoke to me and when I asked about the empty ingredients bin they were totally confused. Clearly they were incapable of basic problem solving like asking a manager or checking the fridge behind the counter or using ingredients at the online order work station. I was told they had none, I find that hard to believe on a Wednesday at 3PM. Then I was served COLD soft tacos, they did not steam them in the press. When I asked for a Kids' Build Your Own Taco they were totally confused. Evidently they weren't trained how to prepare this order or ask me how I wanted it built, they just gave me rice and two empty soft taco shells. At this point I started raising my voice and expressing my frustration as I spend a lot of money at this location and have been having issues with service and no product. I worked food service and have the utmost respect for others working in customer and food service BUT DO BETTER!
SADLY the manager stood back at the grill aware of the issues I was having as the location was not busy and she watched me but instead of stepping in to help or apologize or defuse the situation she watched her two female employees struggle to provide me customer service and continued to work at the grill. I can also sympathize with staff shortages as there appeared to only be a manager and two sraff on duty but the location was not busy at this time, the manager needed to step in to help these femald employees. I honestly felt invisible and that my regular patronage was taken for granted.
