I buy this product regularly and am very familiar with its normal flavor. Upon checking the expiration date, I noticed it expires next month, which is unusually soon for butter purchased from a grocery store. I returned to the store with the product. Although I did not have the receipt, I provided the date, time, and credit card used for the purchase and requested that the transaction be looked up. Despite this, the store manager refused to offer a refund or even an exchange, stating that the product had not yet expired. I explained that the concern was product quality, not the expiration date. The situation became even more upsetting when the manager dismissed the issue by saying, “It’s only $5.99.” Every dollar matters, and that response felt disrespectful and dismissive. Also, the meat department had a strong odor, and I observed meat being handled without gloves, which raised serious hygiene concerns. I believe customers deserve safe, fresh products and respectful treatment. This experience like this damages trust within the community you serve. I'm not rich so yea buddy every penny counts. Last time I will ever step foot in this store. Suggest to go to Super Natural Produce on Duke street best in Lancaster. Trying to help out my community and try a new spot disappointing.
