  I haven't shopped at this GIANT in over a year as Weis has more to offer and I have been treated poorly at this store in the past. I stopped by the Kutztown location today for convenience. Teri, who was supervising the self-checkout area, seemed annoyed that I required assistance. Our first interaction was me taking a moment to figure out how to scan my virtual GIANT card. Teri came over without me asking and intervened. My goal was to have no more interactions with Teri after that. When the scanner tripped over a banana UPC (hardly a user error), she approached me with a condescending "Already???" as if I was intentionally wasting her time. I don't work here. I’m a customer trying to buy groceries. If GIANT expects customers to check themselves out, they should probably ensure their associates don't act annoyed when they actually have to do their jobs. I’ll be heading back to Weis.

  Giant in Kutztown is a nice grocery store experience. I use the app and download the weekly coupons. All of the staff are pleasant and helpful. The store is very clean and organized. There is a good selection of organic products. The Giant Brand products are also good.

  Horrible store , horrible customer service,college students don’t care. Going to Delli god forbid you ask to slice lunch meat it’s horrible. Never going back to that store again.

  I normally shop at the Pottsville Location because of its proximity to my place of work. Last week I decided to do some weekend shopping at my local-to-home location in Kutztown. The difference was quite shocking. The store was extremely poorly stocked - 3 items on my list were unavailable. I also purchased expired sausage (expired by 4 days at time of purchase) and did not realize until I took it out to cook several days later. I spend over $10,000 a year at Giant - I shop here and pay the prices so I can enjoy the quality and ease of shopping at your stores. I should NOT have to check dates on ANYTHING in a Giant Food Store. I pay Giants inflated prices to ensure I get quality, in-date products. This experience put a very bad taste in my mouth. If you want to treat your inventory like its in a discount store, it should be priced like a discount store. I don't know if I will ever return to this location.
