- SPSteven ParisSep 15, 20253.0The nicest grocery store in the area with a very good selection of fresh, high quality produce, meats, seafood, and dairy. I deducted 1-star due to their frustrating self check-out system that forces you to place everything on an undersized bagging area for security purposes (weighing). It's not well designed in that it is too small and too strict. E.g. if you buy a watermelon and want to place it right back in the cart, you cannot. You must somehow place this giant fruit in what may be a full bagging area. There is also no good place to set your handheld tote when not using a cart. The reason that Giant loses the 2nd star is that price mistakes occur too frequently (actually it's more likely outdated shelf stickers - and errors are almost never in the shoppers favor) and forcing users to find the digital coupons that are advertised on shelf tags is frustrating. You cannot (e.g.) scan a QR code is otherwise easily find the coupon and must often scroll through pages of coupons to find it - search is oddly not very accurate. It's like they engineered frustration into the process.

The substitute is so bad I don’t even know what to say. I guess I was expecting the picker’s to pick like they would be picking groceries for themselves. If you wouldn’t eat it why would you pick for customers that way. This problem is not a new one it has been going on continuously. My family will no longer use this service.
