Genuinely so beyond sick of getting my order sent to DoorDash every single time I order, and yes I tip well. I worked at papa john’s before and I know personally that you’re not supposed to be using DoorDash as a first response, utilize your delivery drivers like you’re supposed to. I’ve delivered pizzas up until closing, what’s your excuse? I’m 6 mins from the store, y’all don’t have the time? Lazy establishment, dominos in town does WAYYY better. The pizza here also sucks, y’all use old dough that’s clearly been sitting out all day long, once again I know that’s not the food safety practice you should be using. Literal cardboard. Hardly any sauce on the breadsticks. Seems like they skimp on toppings too when there’s a literal visual representation to show how much to give. Y’all give papa John’s a horrible name, the food is actually good when made by other stores that care about their service. The papa John’s I worked at would neverrrrr. Take your service elsewhere.

Can you guess how many toppings this za is supposed to have, just by looking at it? Me Neither! This papa pairings "deal" allows you to buy multiple items for the low price of 6.99/item! The two items were only 25.76, how affordable! I got a medium new York style, EXTRA DONE pizza with pepperoni and bacon, and a side of garlic knots. I realize it's generally accepted that second toppings cost more, so I understood that to be the case at the time of purchase. Doing the math it came out to 12.88 for each item. That's a whopping 84.26% MORE than advertised. Granted though, at the end of my receipt, before additional fees and taxes, they dropped it down to $23.24, how generous, truly. The whole mess of a meal cost me $33.42, $5 of which being a delivery fee(15%). As much as I feel these exorbitant fees are merely another case of corporate greed, I understand them. What I don't appreciate here is not just the abominable math, but the fact that I didnt really even get what I ordered! The pizza was soggy and undercooked, and I have maybe 7 or 8 pieces of pepperoni on a pepperoni and BACON pizza. This is an insult, and I remember why I stopped buying from this papa John's in particular. And frankly the garlic knots, should knot exist, they're terrible, taste like plastic and seemed to have been baked dry having only had some cold, garlic seasoned, "butter" concoction squirted on them last minute in an attempt to make them palatable. What a horrendous crime scene of a meal, I hope next time I am exhausted and in need of a "cheap", quick meal, I'll see this review and remember my vow to never purchase from this particular location. Thank you for ruining my evening.
