- MEMike EsbensenNov 17, 20251.0Walked into the store at 10:58 to purchase one item and was “greeted” by a young man yelling from the self checkout that “We’re Closed”! When I told him that it was only 10:58 he again reiterated “We’re Closed”! He then said unless I was only getting one thing and I told him that was exactly what I was getting. He then proceeded to tell me to go ahead then BUT he’ll have to turn back every self-checkout register. I told him not to bother and walked out! So this post wasn’t about not being able to get the one item that I came in for (which at 10:58 I was still within the appropriate posted store hours to do so), but more importantly that you don’t treat any customer at any time with such disrespect and disregard unless you don’t encourage your employees to value the importance of Customer Service. Do better Giant and shame on you Sir for the conduct you demonstrated (I just wish I could have identified you by name)!
