Coming back and bringing my family.

The calamari was the best I have had, the ribs and pasta made me wish I got some Togo. The drink selections are amazing and priced perfectly. My waitress was very sweet and attentive, The Chef was friendly and even sat us, the bartender even put the icing on the cake with the mixed drinks.

Both of us tend to be overtippers in general but today we sat down, ordered one $5 beer and a mocktail, uncertain what the price would be for the drink. No pleasantries at all and no check in. Pulled out a $20 and let the bartender know we were done. After some time she looked at us and said, "are you waiting for change, I thought you said you were done." We shared that we didn't know how much we owed. She asked what we got again and said that would be about $15 and again offered no change. If it were truly $15, we would have normally just left $20 but it felt shady, rude and forced. Provide a bill, offer change and do right. Try smiling and checking in and you won't have to shadily force tips. Bad taste in our mouths and not from the drinks.
