Cozy little local spot. Friendly service. Brickhouse fries and crab cakes were great! The mashed potatoes…not so much. Add some butter/garlic/ or something. Overall though great little joint, will definitely return

Literally ditto to the review before this one. We were there on the same night as the prior reviewer and with a group of friends . The place was so cold, my ankles ached til we left. The 2 prime ribs ordered definitely were NOT prime rib. Even the waitress was confused between the NY Strip steaks that we also ordered and the prime ribs. Medium rare was too rare. Strip steaks had a lot of gristle. Not sure who their meat supplier is, but they need a new one. The meal was extremely overpriced, but we didn't feel like driving into Lancaster so we stayed local. Choices are slim in the southern end but let's do better. We didn't complain, but we won't be back. I hesitated to leave a review until I read the prior one and was shocked to see it was our experience too.

Went in for Friday's Smoked Prime Rib special with my family and a few friends. Three of us ordered the special and it was absolutely terrible!! The cut of meat did not appear to even be the classic prime rib. Resembled a poorly cooked 10-12oz strip steak. On top of that all three steaks came out only slightly warm on the outside and completely undercooked, "redish-purple" on the inside. We all requested med-rare. The two sides werent anything spectacular either. This meal cost $33!! I will say, our waitress did a good job and seemed empathetic to our concerns. She asked the manager to come to our table and though we got an apology and the excuse "it so cold outside that our kitchen has ice in it", no real steps were taken to right the issue. One final issue was the temperature in the dining area was maybe in the low 60's. Several in my party had to put their jackets back on just to stay warm while eating. Again the waitress did a good job throughout this experience in my opinion keeping our drinks full and needs met, but the kitchen staff and leadership are not doing a good job at putting out consistent, quality meals or addressing shortcomings as they arise.
