- ADAmber DFeb 3, 20261.0I called to order a Luau bowl on 01-16-26 and was originally was connected to the front desk who were nice enough to connect me to produce. I spoke with a gentleman around 1736 who informed me to call back in the morning to order the item and that I will be able to do the same day pick up. I asked him for his name so I could relay this message to the person I spoke to the next morning and he stated he was not giving me his name and I proceeded to ask why he wouldn’t give me his first name and he said he wasn’t giving me his name again and then I ask if I could be transferred back to the front desk for additional assistance because I knew this was against policy to not give your first name. He was unable to transfer so I called back and spoke to Joe who was extremely professional and helpful and he allowed me to place my order for pickup for the following day for the repass of my grandmother. On 01-17-26 I picked up my order and spoke with Chris the produce supervisor and explained the situation and told him about his staff and asked if the conversations are recorded because a customer should never be treated that way and he needs to be retrained. When I was in customer service I was required to answer the phone and saying my name was part of it. Joe and Chris were the best part of this location. If Acme doesn’t get better front line employees they will lose customers like myself.

Went to pay $ 58.14 & it wouldn’t take my cash so I requested help & then was told by the front end manager that ACME NO LLNGER EXCEPTS CASH ADTER 10pm! So I had no choice but to leave my groceries.. It’s a shame what this area has come through but I understand that policies have to change to adapt to the times we live in but there was no signage or anything anywhere in the store that tells the customer of this new policy. That is awful customer service and I will gladly do my shopping somewhere else!
