Been coming here as my primary option for 5 years because of convenience being closest to my home. But the last 6 or so months either their corporate management or store management team decided to just simply close up self-checkout for unknown reasons, every single night… like after 5pm? Not sure for how long, but it’s consistently closed when I drop by at 5pm or 9pm…. I can only speculate it’s to keep their cashiers busy and working while creating frustration with their customers, intentionally. Maybe the cashiers are unionized so they can’t just fire them for lack of work or management is too lazy to place them into other roles.
But I for sure now will drive further up to WEISS for my self-checkout. I won’t spend 10-20 min waiting in lines like it’s 2008 again!
