- MPMary PcolarJun 20, 20181.0Go to Shrader's DQ a little further up 130 in Jeannette, they will give you what you want. My husband ordered a banana split and I wanted a parfait only not a peanut parfait. Basically all of the ingredients as the split layered in a parfait cup minus the banana ( a fruit parfait ). I was told that they would have to charge me for the peanut parfait and then extra for the strawberry and pineapple whipped cream and sprinkle of nuts on top even though a parfait and b-split are the same price. I asked why and the response was, " because we have to put it in a different cup and we don't do that " ! I've been to other DQ's and they always say, not a problem and charge me the regular price since the parfait and split are equal in price. Also we got a doggie bowl which was a little ramekin cup like the kind you get for extra sauces and no dog biscuit on top and they charged the same as all other DQ's that give you a small sundae bowl and biscuit on top Irwin or Jeannette from now on ! Have to say the girl at the window was very sweet, not her rules she was doing her job.
