I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this newly opened Dunkin’ location was unacceptable from start to finish.
When I arrived, I had a very simple order just two donuts and a drink. I wasn’t rushed, frustrated, or asking for anything complicated. Despite that, the customer service was atrocious. The employee left the microphone on while chatting with someone else, completely ignoring me even though she knew I was waiting. She told me, “Okay, I’m ready for your order,” only to tell me to wait again. This happened about three times she would ask for my order, then immediately stop listening and go back to talking to someone else. By the time she actually took the order, it was already incorrect when I reached the window.
But honestly, that wasn’t even the worst part.
After driving away, I opened my bag to eat one of the donuts only to find a bug, (an ant) walking around inside the bag like it had bought the donut itself. Completely unacceptable for a brand-new location.
I turned around to get a refund. They did give me one, but when I asked to speak to a manager, there was absolutely no apology, no concern, and no sense of urgency. Just blank stares. That is incredibly disappointing, especially for a store that just opened.
I would strongly advise avoiding this location until they get their staff trained, improve their service, and address serious sanitation issues. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Dunkin’.
