  Came in to eat with a tour. I figured a place with parking spots for busses would be able to accommodate 20 walk in orders. We waited for an hour for 2 combo meals. Some in our group waited for an hour and a half before they got theirs. Staff overwhelmed and it’s just not the place to go if you want to eat and get back to touring.

  Walked into this McDonald’s at midday & was the only one at the register & No one came over to take my order in a 15 minute time span. I ended up just walking out. I could see that they were busy with drive thru customers; however, several of the employees looked over at me, but none even said “ I’ll be with you shortly sir” or something similar! No dialogue whatsoever! Several other customers were inside but were ordering from the Kiosks & seemed to be just milling around.

  They’re very nice and it’s clean. That’s all the good things I can say about this location. I live in Gettysburg and have been here at least a dozen times over the last few years. They always forget part of the order. Not once have we ever received a complete order. We’ve tried going inside, the drive thru, the app, going when it’s really slow. It doesn’t matter, everything paid for is never in the bag. They also tend to leave out sauces and straws. The fries are generally way under filled. I emptied out a medium fry next to a small and the small contained more fries. Bottom line is you need to check the bags before you leave or you’ll be out what you paid for or stuck driving all the way back for one or two things. They are nice about saying they’ll replace missing items when you call but they don’t write anything down so unless you go back during the same shift they’ll just look at you like you’re trying to steal from them when you say you’re there to pick up your missing food from another day. All that said, the other locations around are worse so….

  Might as well call it slow food here . I’m working in the area and would like to stop in here on lunch sometimes but I’m done with that every time you go in there they worry about the drive-through and have you standing in there for 10 plus minutes.

  Loved the Gettysburg Battle area! We had lunch at the McDonald's. Food was good Bathrooms were not so clean though. After we ate we needed to refill our drinks but had to wait for someone to notice that we needed our drink refilled. Please REOPEN THE DRINK STATIONS!!!! WE LIKED GETTING OUR OWN DRINK REFILLS!!!!! Stop charging $2.00 for a slice of lemon!!!! This is common sense people! THIS IS A MAJOR FAST FOOD RESTAURANT CHAIN AND WE EXPECT BETTER SERVICE! THANKS
