  I had an absolutely horrible experience at the Giant Food Store in Gettysburg Pennsylvania today. Due to the shortage of human checkout help, the lines were exceedingly long this morning; therefore, I use the self check out, with horrible results. The first machine I went to did not work properly, and I had to remove all my items from the weighing table and go to a different machine. There, my blueberries fell all over the place because the lid popped open. This store needs to realize how important checkout staff is to the people who rely on the store for their groceries. This has been a going for quite a while and it needs to stop! Store management needs to realize that a shortage of checkout staff is only frustrating customers. I am definitely not happy with this store. My wife and I are longtime patrons because we love everything else about the store. Adding more check out staff would be a welcome change and enhance the stores reputation and business .

  Self-cueckout systems here are a disaster. Full of bugs and needing almost as much human intervention as the normal checkout.

  Giant on natural springs in Gettysburg never disappoints, hot bar chicken today "delicious " and soon as you walk in door four "cookies " for a dollar 💵 soft not too sweet delicious on my way back home. Love Giants ❤️
