I called to see if I could return a shovel cause I looked online and couldn’t find their return policy and the shovel I bought 3 weeks ago The shovel didn’t work shoveling the snow at all couldn’t use it . . The shovel was in perfectly good condition and still had the sticker on it and I had my receipt. Even if there was I should be able to return it like most stores do especially if it was faulty. Instead of giving a clear answer the manager questioned me multiple times about what was “wrong” with the shovel, as if there had to be an issue for me to return it. I explained that there was nothing wrong with it, but I was still made to feel like I was doing something suspicious. On top of that, the manager had to consult two different people just to decide whether I could return it. And then I called another giant store to ask the same question and she said as long as you have the receipt you should be able to return it and to ANY location no problem. So which further proves my point on how they over complicated this minor situation. A basic return with a receipt shouldn’t feel like an interrogation. The process was complicated and uncomfortable. I expected better customer service and a smoother experience. Being that I’m a regular customer here now I will go to a different location moving forward.
