We went to Erie Sonic on 4/18/26 around 9:45pm. It took them half hour to answer the call button for our order and another 45 minutes to say that our order was complete. We again waited 10 more minutes and no one was bringing our food. So I went in to check where it's at and they tell me that they don't have a order for station #6. Also there was a door dash person and 2 other groups of people in the restaurant that didn't get their orders but had paid for them. The rude front person that took orders said that they didn't make our food. Mind you they closed at 11pm. I was there at 9:45pm. They were rushing to clean up and leave. The other people in the restaurant said they order an hour before. My order was $35 plus, and I'm still waiting for a refund. Will not go back to this one.

I don't understand how difficult it is to grasp the concept of leaving the cheese off the burger. Twice now my other half ordered delivery, both times I asked for no cheese on my burger, and both times it shows up with cheese. I let it slide the first time, but twice? That's just incompetence...
Everyone else gets to enjoy their food while I make a peanut butter and jelly. The directions are literally on the screen.

We waited in stall #10 for roughly 20 minutes with no one responded to take our order. Decided to go through the drive thru, waited 15 more minutes for our food and it ended up being wrong!! I ordered a #9 chicken sandwich with no pickles. I got a burger, not a chicken sandwich with pickles on it. My husband ordered a #5, a double bacon cheeseburger, it was a single patty and no bacon. The only thing about our order that was correct was the kids meal. $27 wasted on shitty food and service.

On Monday, 04/06/26, some friends and I planned to meet with our children at Erie Sonic and we had an incredibly negative experience. First, it was 62 degrees in the building, customers and staff were visibly cold. When we asked for the heat to be turned up, we were told the thermostat was "locked by management", which seems incredibly irresponsible to not allow the workers to increase the heat for not just the customer's comfort, but their own as well. Second, despite us being one of the only people in the establishment, it took 20 minutes for us TO EVEN PLACE our order and then it took another half an hour for our orders to be completed and brought to the table. Once at the table, there were multiple mistakes that had to be corrected. When it was brought to one of the staff's attention, he got incredibly rude with our party and basically said "I don't know what you want from me". This location appeared to be incredibly understaffed on Monday, but no excuses or apologies were given to us as to why everything was taking so long. Additionally, the girl who took my order got into a verbal dispute with another worker while she was actively taking my order. I was literally mid-sentence and she said "Excuse me" and stormed in the back and began fighting with the other worker. She was gone for 5 minutes before coming back to complete the order. The three staff members that were working were incredibly rude and disrespectful to our party. During our experience, multiple other people were complaining about the service and others left simply because they were not taken care of in a timely manner. Truly so disappointed in this location of Sonic and will not be returning.

This is now the second time I’ve pulled up, hit the order button, and had to leave without food. Tonight was even worse. I started placing my order, got halfway through, and the speaker just cut off. I sat there for several minutes waiting, only to hear the same employee take someone else’s order at the next stall.
Completely unprofessional. Ignoring a customer mid-order to serve someone who arrived later is unacceptable. If you can’t handle basic service, don’t pretend to offer it.
