I am a senior citizen who is handicapped, on oxygen, and feels quite invisible most of the time in the Marketplace Way store. But first..
Positive:
1. Misty and her pharmacy staff deserve SIX stars! They are knowledgeable, kind, and helpful.
2. William, Hudson, and Dylan, who put my bags in my car, are really nice young men and care about senior citizens.
3. Kissel, who returns carts immediately always takes a moment to share a greeting.
4. The section from milk through ice cream is kept immaculately clean.
5. Recently a floor staff member helped me avoid a fall while trying to sit on a chair. She had no name tag; otherwise wise, I would have thanked her by name.
Negative
1. There is only one bathroom with a heavy door that is impossible to open while pushing my Giant cart with my Oxygen device in it.
2. Several times I have opened baby spinach or cut melon cubes and found them musty-smelling.
3. Sometimes I have found meat leaking blood from the package on the bottom, e.g. boneless/skinless chicken thighs.
4. I have had cashiers watch me struggling to put my merchandise on the belt or in my cart. There are few who do help.
5. The floor staff needs to have a lesson in manners, common courtesy, eye contact, and interaction with all customers. Many of us who are handicapped often have a feeling of invisibility. Last week when I asked for help loading my car, a customer service member just pointed at me to show William who I was. He should have said something like, "This lady needs help with her groceries.

Xavier made an otherwise unremarkable shopping trip considerably better by going out of his way to ensure we didn't struggle with the fussy self checkout. He tried to help me straighten out some issues I've been having with the Giant app (ugh...), and when that proved difficult he quickly offered to adjust the cost of our asparagus to the coupon cost to get us out the door in a timely manner. You're lucky to have such a bright, considerate, helpful human on staff!
