I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at this location.
I placed a mobile order through the McDonald’s app for iced coffee using my daughters’ phones (one order had two drinks, the other had one). When we went through the drive-thru, the employee said she couldn’t find the order. I politely offered to pull forward and show the code directly from the app, but she refused.
A manager then came over and also said she couldn’t find it. I showed her the order code, the correct location on the app, and even the completed transaction on my credit card. Instead of helping, she walked away and brought another manager, Travis.
Unfortunately, Travis was extremely rude and unprofessional. I again showed him the proof (order code and transaction on both phones), but he kept arguing with me and told me to cancel the order—even though I explained that it was already processed and could not be canceled.
Meanwhile, there was a long line of cars behind me (at least 7–8 cars), and he continued arguing instead of resolving the situation quickly. I even offered to just pay again for the 3 iced coffees to keep things moving, but asked for reassurance about a refund if the original charge went through. His response was “maybe,” which is completely unacceptable.
This wasn’t about the money—it was about the poor customer service. I was clearly not trying to get anything for free. I had proof of purchase, and instead of helping, the manager chose to argue and delay everyone.
What makes this even more frustrating is that just a couple of days ago, I had an issue at the same location where someone took my order from the pickup counter. In that case, the staff handled it professionally and remade the order without any issue—even though it cost more than this one.
There was no reason for this situation to be handled so poorly. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and unwillingness to help is unacceptable.
