As we were leaving I notice all of a sudden security came towards the door. We finished paying and We walked out a couple seconds after a white lady. Our cart locks but hers is fine and she’s able to leave. Then security comes up to us and asked for our receipt. At this point I’m livid and asking him why the lady infront of us cart didn’t lock. they assumed we stole because we’re a black family. we give him the receipt and he didn’t even actually look at it. He knows he was wrong which is why he just let us go. This happen in 2023 and has been bothering me for the past years. I know the exact day it happened too. so if u need to pull up the footage go right ahead and I’ll tell you the date. That was Disgusting behavior 💯

I was the only person in the line and all the registers were available. The person who was there had one of the worst attitude ever. She was rude to me. She had the nerve to tell me “you could not come here. What cant you go to the other registers. I am not going to help you. I can’t. Im not dealing with this.” And walked away. As I was trying to explain to her I was going to scan my stuffs. I was not asking her to do it for me. Since I have high anxiety. I get shaken easily. The way she treated me was completely unacceptable. Unprofessional and disrespectful. Im realizing that people take their political beliefs into their jobs. If you are hispanic be careful going here.
