Do Not Order on the App!!! My roommate and I go to Aman’s every week and have ordered in the past 3 weeks. Each week it keeps getting worse. The first time the food was ok but soggy as it took too long to get to us. (The food is great so we didn’t mind)We live about 5 minutes from the store and the second time when we ordered through the app it took about an hour to get it delivered. When we called the restaurant they said there was nothing they could do. I understand this if we were going through DoorDash or Grubhub. But it’s from their app so in this case they are responsible for the food till it gets to our door. But this night was the absolute worst and honestly, I don’t think I’ll be back for a while. We ordered at 5:45 and at 7 there was still no word on our order. We called the restaurant and the food had been sitting there for a while they said. I had to drive down and pick it up. By the time I got back it was 7:33 and our food was stone cold! I understand things happen but the way they handled it left a bad taste in my mouth. There was no mention of a refund besides the tip for the driver and no real apology for mistakes on their part(it should have been a full refund). I have worked and managed a restaurant before and I understand the importance of customer service and making things right. Aman’s seems to lack that. On top of their inconsiderateness of our time, to get a refund on the tip we had to call the DoorDash Business side ourselves to cancel the delivery. I know from previous experience that it should be the business that does this as it is their responsibility to be in contact with DoorDash for deliveries set up by restaurants. I hope that for the future Aman’s deliver gets better and their customer service gets better.

The appetizers are very lackluster. Not bad, not great. Very similar to appetizers from most chains in terms of quality. Appetizers are recommended as the food does take time to prepare, but don't let the quality of the appetizers put you off. The meal is, simply, WOW! Layers of flavors. The curry is top notch! Some of the best I can ever say I've had the pleasure of savoring. There is nothing besides the curry, so definitely spend the extra $7 and order some rice, as you'll want it to soak up all the delicious sauce! Spice level was straight on point. At medium it had kick, but a pleasant one. Just enough to help pull out yet a new flavor nuance. They were applying for a liquor license, so it was BYOB on my visit. But they had an assortment of micktails. My only real negative is they force a mandatory 20% gratuity, and then charge state sales tax ON THE TIP!. Not cool in my book. But the food was great. The chef even came out to talk with guests. Waiter Eric was great! Definitely professional and attentive. Would easily recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves flavor! 5 stars.

Aman’s is an amazing restaurant. This restaurant is so special and every time we come the food and service is the same time and time again (which is the best). My girlfriend and I went on our first date here and it holds a special memory with us each time we come. We came here for our anniversary and they gave us a treat as a celebration. Milena was a great waitress and the entire staff is amazing. You need to come here and you won’t be disappointed.

It's with a sad heart that I post this review. We have been to this restaurant several times, but the last encounter left a sour taste. First of all, the food is not exactly "authentic" Indian, which is perfectly fine. They don't claim to be an authentic Indian restaurant, but the food is usually top-notch. The atmosphere is amazing as well.
What really disappointed us, was the service. We came in and asked if they had Corona beer, without paying much attention to the menu. Unfortunately, we failed to realize that all their beers are non-alcoholic. We were not advised of this by the staff. This was even more confusing because we saw the orange public notice of application for alcoholic beverages. Again, this is all okay. However, when the bottle of beer arrived, it was already open (which is important for later). I saw the label, and immediately flagged down our server and asked to please take it back, as I wasn't interested in paying that much for a non-alcoholic beer. I never even took a sip.
The waiter came back after a few minutes and said that because the bottle was opened, they cannot return it. We were free to not drink it, but will be charged for it regardless. The reason being that the menu states that the beers are all non-alcoholic - which, in all fairness, it does. Here's the thing though, we don't visit high-end restaurants like this for just the food. We come here for service. At any other reputable restaurants like this, they would have gladly taken the item away and pulled it off the bill. But after a couple of attempts to communicate this to the waitstaff, it was clear that they were more interested in educating us what the menu said than providing any service.
When I ask "can I get a Corona", the response should be "it's non-alcoholic, is that okay?" Or at the very least, don't open the bottle before it even arrives at the table so that we can at least see it. On top of that, here's the kicker: there's a mandatory 20% service charge. You could get the worst service of your life, and would have no choice but to pay the full tip and food price, because they sure as hell won't make things right as long as they can make a buck. I took a look at some of the other lower end reviews. The review responses from the owners paint a pretty clear picture - it's never their fault, it's always the customer that is wrong.
Once again, great food, great atmosphere, but God forbid you have any complaints.

I want to start by commending the atmosphere and service of the restaurant. I'm not a big fan of tipping culture but I think locking in a standard 20% that can't go higher is actually a good idea.
The food was very good but ultimately, not the best I've had. It's wildly overpriced for the amount you get and making people pay extra for *any* rice at all is ridiculous. And $6 for plain bismati rice is crazy. A basic curry dish should always include rice in the cost, it's not like I'm gonna sit there and eat lamb korma completely by itself. I was also disappointed that the food was not very spicy, even when I requested maximum spice.
Lastly, the Manchurian Gobhi was not very crispy.
This place is definitely good, but you can get similar or better quality food for about 30-40% cheaper. You're really paying a lot extra for atmosphere and service.
