I tried this new Dairy Queen location last night for takeout. The restaurant was extremely busy, and I completely understand that things can get hectic — I’ve worked in restaurants before, so I get it.
I had a coupon code from the app that the employee couldn’t get to work, which was frustrating but not a huge deal. Our food actually came out fairly quickly, but our Blizzards were missing. I went up to let them know and waited until they were made.
When I received them, I asked for lids and didn’t get them. When I went back to the counter to mention it, the cashier responded in a hostile tone and yelled at me. She did apologize, but being spoken to that way is where I draw the line. There’s no reason for a customer to be yelled at over something that simple.
I’ve been to many Dairy Queen locations, both big and small, and this was unfortunately my worst experience. For a $35 order, I expected better service and basic courtesy.
The store and exterior appeared clean and tidy on 02/17/2026.
We ordered four take--out dinners (Burger Combos - had the burger, fries, drink, and sundae), and each order was taken smoothly and efficiently. NO ERRORS ON OUR ORDER!!!
The service was very fast - we had the meals and sundaes brought to us even before we finished getting our soft drinks!
All the staff we encountered were friendly and professional.
I'll be returning here quite often!

We had the drive thru. Service was good, but one of our orders was chicken salad bowl. It came with bacon bits, which wasn't appreciated. There has to be a sign about what the 'chicken' salad includes. Some people may not like bacon, or they may not like bacon with chicken. In fact, if the recipe must have bacon, it should be included in the order name 'chicken bacon salad '.

I've had several problems here in a few visits. I wrote the first issue off as it being opening week, and the manager on duty was wonderful in taking care of things. The 2nd time I was there with my son towards the end of lunch, and we were served. soggy fries. Lastly, we had an experience where some of the staff clearly didnt want to be there and made me feel like an inconvenience and didnt seem friendly, even after my girlfriend and I tried to make the smile and wished them a good evening.

This place isnt gonna last long. The service isnt great. The employees act like they dont wanna be there. The ones that are aware of what's going on that is. Our orders have been messed up everytime we have went. I thought the 1st couple times would be whatever cause it was new. But then after awhile, come on get it together.
Hopefully things improve. Till then, this is my review.. unfortunate.
