    Updating to add: Uber confirmed that the restaurant did receive payment and they are therefore unable to provide a refund. I have provided tangible proof of this in the attachments. The owner's response is completely false. I was charged $82 dollars for an order that Uber cancelled in error. Uber advised I call the restaurant as I did want the food and was willing to pick it up myself and Uber stated that the restaurant had already received payment, but the restaurant insisted they could not help since they did not receive payment, which they absolutely did and I have attached a receipt to prove. Avoid these crooks at all costs. Edited to include proof that the restaurant did receive payment and I am being scammed and lied to by the owner who insisted they did not receive payment Second edit to add: there was less than 5 minutes between the order being placed and Uber customer service mistakenly canceling instead of editing the quantity, so no, there is no possible way the restaurant experienced a loss on this order unless they can magically cook orders in 4 minutes.
