Love Morning Talk Cafe so much! Very cozy, and the lighting is very warm so being inside doesn't hurt my eyes for a long period of time. Good place for studying my school work in on weekdays. Fridays and weekends can sometimes get busy if you are looking for studying times. All the food is very yummy and lots of homemade items, their specialty drinks are always AMAZING as well! The owners and baristas are very sweet and welcoming!

I went here for the first time after someone had gotten me a matcha latte from Morning Talk. It tasted really good, not too sweet, and the one today was similar. I ordered for a group, getting 11 items. Prices were high, but the quality was decent. I was surprised to pay $5.50 for a large drip coffee, which I'd expect more as a French press or pourover price, especially as the coffee wasn't brewed to order. Further, the drip coffee was the same price as or more expensive than many of the espresso drinks, which I'd expect to pay more for. I'd expect the $3-3.50 range for the coffee that I saw, with the rest of the drinks being in the $5-7 range. Ultimately, after a $5 tip, it came to over $70 for the drinks, with four of them being regular coffee.
If the prices were lower, I'd give the food 5-stars, but at that price point, I'd have wanted something exceptionally good. The food appeared to be homemade, and I bet it would be tasty, but I generally shy away from places that are this pricey unless I'm doing it as a treat for someone else (such as today) or someone is getting it for me for free (such as the previous time). Very friendly staff, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. I'm not likely to return, but that's true of most coffee shops these days, so I don't think I'm the target clientelle: I generally brew mine at home.
Edit: I went another time as a treat for my team, and out of 10 drinks, 2 were wrong. One was the simplest (black coffee, but I received a coffee with cream), and the other was a Black Tie, which got made as a Thai tea. The people I got them for accepted them, but it's a shame, as the person on the phone took the time to read back the order and everything was correct on their readback.

The staff were absolutely lovely so I hate to leave a negative comment, but the coffee was not good. We got a caramel latte and a cookie butter latte. The caramel latte didn’t even really taste like coffee, just like burnt and sour. There was no caramel flavor at all. The cookie butter latte could’ve been good but it also had a burnt and sour aftertaste. Again, the staff were lovely but unfortunately we will not be returning.
