Made the Right Way. Every Day. There's a reason our bagels taste different--they're made the traditional way. At Manhattan Bagel, we give each bagel a dip in a kettle of boiling water, then bake them fresh each morning. That's how we get our authentic shiny bagels with a crispy, golden crust on the outside and that soft, satisfying chew inside. No shortcuts. Just real, authentic bagels made the way they were always meant to be. We kettle-boil our bagels to lock in that shine and crunch, then bake them fresh daily for a chewy, golden bite. No shortcuts, just the classic NY method - done right, right here, every day.
So this is the second time we had a problem with this place. The first time I ordered a salt bagel with cream cheese from the drive thru and got a cut plain bagel with NO CREAM CHEESE, but let it go. This time I went in, there were 3 young kids behind the counter talking about useless nonsense and I asked for an everything bagel with cream cheese. Girl took my order, again no one was doing anything but talking while I waited for someone to cut a bagel, slap cream cheese on it , wrap it up and put it in a bag. At home that takes me all of 3 minutes maybe, but I'm not a bagel master. I waited 10 minutes before the girl who took my order decided it was now time to make my bagel. I ended up with a toasted bagel, which I didn't ask for, no napkin, and half way in the bag. There definitely wasn't any adult supervision that was to be seen. When you have teenagers running a business, you get a teenage response to running a business. Well needless to say, no more bagels from that location. Thank you for the terrible service!

I arrived this morning at the drive-through and ordered a sesame bagel well toasted with butter. The young lady at the drive-through repeated the order to me I got on the road only to find that it was barely warmed, and there was the tiniest amount of butter. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to get exactly what you order. Well toasted means toasted more than once or a longer period of time .. To pay $3.50 for a bagel with butter that probably cost less than $.20. it should be made correctly . The only reason why I gave it a couple stars is because the young lady at the drive through window was welcoming and was nice.

Extremely slow service and vengeful staff. They served me burnt bagels, coffee with grinds in it, wrong flavor. and they are overpriced. I had given them too many chances but burning my bagels because I did not have Pennie’s was the last straw. Don’t go to this store. Bagel barn is a better option with fresher and tastier products and better prices and nice service. I will never go to this Manhattan bagel ever again and will tell all my friends how badly I was treated!

Always forgetting something in my order. This time they forgot to put an egg on my bacon egg and cheese. You can't make this stuff up.
