- SSSamOct 19, 20251.0I’m not one to typically leave Google reviews especially one that is poor since we like to give many chances because everyone has a bad day, but this review comes after many mistakes made by the Chalfont Manhattan Bagel. It started months ago with the coffee never being hot (just warm) so we switched to getting coffee from Dunkin and still stopping by Manhattan for bagels since it’s so close to home. There have been multiple times where my husband has picked up bagels ordered with a tub of cream cheese and there was no tub included in the bag. We called after but the phone rang for so long with no pick up that we just used what we had at home from the grocery store. There have been multiple times a half dozen honey whole wheat everything bagels were ordered and when looking at home they put plain whole wheat (including today). We’ve ordered a blueberry bagel in our half dozen for a guest and come to realize it was a chocolate chip bagel when we got home. The nova lox sandwiches are never cut all the way thru for example the top slice of the bagel is cut but the bottom and cream cheese/lox are not so we cut thru at home. Last Thursday I went to pick up a half dozen bagels at 10 AM and they were out of honey whole wheat, plain whole wheat and sesame so for the first time we tried a different family owned local bagel shop that’s just 6 minutes further away which was great. The drive thru always has slow service so you just have to prepare to be in line longer than expected even with only 1-2 cars in front of you. This morning we decided to give Manhattan bagel another shot because it’s just such a convenient location but they still are messing up orders. It really is unfortunate how many times they’ve messed up very simple orders. Truly things need to be changed at this location. 2 years ago the service was completely different.
